Statuesque

Statues traditionally were put up to represent a sense of pride and identity and to commemorate collective memories. Nowadays, cheap mass production has done away with the skilled artisans monopoly, giving us an awful lot more statues with an awful lot less significance. Got to admit though, I do rather love a three foot Michelangelo.

Statuesque

Statuesque

has a wry way of looking at the World and a love of the incongruous oddness of modern life. Alongside an instinctive feel for light and colour, his work encapsulates a signature blend of humour and a left field eye for happenstance.
