Les Voitures Françaises

I couldn’t decide if I would go to the annual Jarnac car show as the weather was rubbish and my beloved Tottenham Hotspur were playing Bournemouth at 4 pm, but at 3 the sun came out and so I decided to go and see what was what. This quiet corner of rural France that I seem to spend too much time in these days is particularly good at the underwhelming event, and this vintage car spectacular kept with tradition with just a handful of voitures and a marked absence of much spectacle. In retrospect I rather regret rushing back for the football as I rather like this series and I really should have stayed for longer, particularly as we lost 1-0.
